Ongoing DOC concession process
Whakapapa Holdings Limited (WHL) is ensuring everything is in place for a seamless transition before opening sales. A key factor in this decision is the ongoing Department of Conservation (DOC) concession process, with an outcome expected by the end of April 2025. The process is progressing positively, and the delay allows WHL to move forward with clarity and confidence.
While the wait may be frustrating for some, it also gives skiers and snowboarders extra time to explore their options. Season pass details are already available online, allowing plenty of time for planning before the official sales launch.
