A frustrated rant by Richard Hayes
That's a bold statement, here's why I feel that this problem is going around in circles
I’m a cyclist, so I’ve already lost some of you reading this. Most people love cyclists! I try to get out and ride my bike daily along the country roads where I live every day. Cycling is a way for me to release the pressures of the day, exercise, and reconnect with nature. I love the feeling of being outdoors, and it’s a magic way to start or finish your day.
But over the last 2-3 years I’ve noticed something different, I see more and more litter on the side of the road that is being either dumped or thrown out of moving vehicles.
There is simply just not enough people who care!
Let's talk about cumulative responsibilty
Cumulative responsibility is a new term that describes the current litter situation around the globe. The question is, and we all ask this: whose fault is it? Mine, as the litterer, the local council, who collects the rubbish, or the government for not setting strict enough rules?
